KJ Eyre started her career as an Editor at book publishers John Fergusons Pty Ltd in Sydney. In the early 90s she was Publisher and Editor of the popular entertainment tabloid Culture Magazine. From 1993 through to 2006 she was Managing Editor (later Editor-in-Chief) of the Studio Magazine Group and Editor of the groundbreaking, multi-award-winning black+white magazine. In 2007 KJ started her media consultancy, her first major contract being Arts Administrator and Project Manager for the Moran Prizes (2007 and 2008 prize years). In this role she was tasked with establishing the then-new Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize. In more recent years she has provided production, editorial and copywriting services to a broad range of publishers, SMEs and authors.
